Media
These are some projects I have had a hand in making over the years.
Calling All Ports YouTube Channel (2023 — )
Co-host of cruise travel YouTube channel and social media brand Calling All Ports with Andrew & Diana. Produce regular videos for YouTube, along with blog articles and social media content across multiple platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, Facebook). The channel is a true collaborative effort with Diana Willis; we research, plan, and script all the content together, while I focus primarily on shooting and editing the videos and Diana handles all the social media marketing and management.
Access the Calling All Ports website here and watch our videos on YouTube here.

To date, 37 students have collaborated to produce 21 half-hour episodes across 3 “seasons.” Project to be re-introduced in the near future.

Skyscraper Zine (1998-2012)
Co-founder, co-owner, publisher, and editor-in-chief of independent arts and entertainment “zine” providing cultural criticism on a broad range of topics in popular culture, in particular underground, punk, and indie rock music. Originated as a quarterly issued print publication, distributed extensively throughout North America and internationally (1998-2009). Moved to a digital, online-only platform (2009-2012). Skyscraper was co-founded by my brother Peter and myself; he handled all the business affairs and I curated the content and directed all the editorial activity. Those duties included: planning and generating content; hiring and managing a team of freelance contributors; setting up interviews and photo shoots; writing reviews and features; proofreading, fact-checking, and copy editing all pages; overseeing graphic design and production process; networking with industry colleagues; and attending conferences and events.
Unfortunately, the Skyscraper website has been offline for a few years now. (Though snapshots can be accessed via the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.) Hopefully in time we will be able to make a digital archive of the print publication available.
